Another Valentine’s day gift for those fleece-clad lovers who go on brisk power walks through pined woods.
They are called “Smittens” because they’re mittens for lovers. Your outside hands will be free to grab, poke, and point at things, while your inside hands will be locked together inside a single mitten so you can interlock your fingers while you stroll about your favorite small town and/or scenic forest trail – awwww!
Michelle Obama had a few many wardrobe changes in the past four days, and the press is definitely taking notice on her fashion choices.
By wearing clothes from up-and-comers such as Wu, Toledo, Narciso Rodriguez and Thakoon Panichgul, Obama is ushering in a new generation of talent and writing the next chapter in American fashion. . . .
“She’s never been about making clothes to make herself famous,” said Rosemary Brantley, chairwoman of the fashion department at L.A.’s Otis College of Art and Design, where Toledo has taught since the 1990s. “She’s about flattering the figure, and she’s curvaceous herself. Everything she does is thoughtful. She would never bang out a dress with a normal side seam.”
